Yearly Calendar
A yearly calendar puts all twelve months on one page. Start it in January for a calendar year, or in any month for a year that runs across two, with US federal or UK bank holidays marked in red and listed underneath. Print it at true size or save it as a PDF.

Printing: choose Actual size or 100%, not “Fit to page”, so 1 cm prints as 1 cm. How to check.
How do twelve months fit on one page?
Each month gets an equal box: (page width − the two margins − the gaps between columns) ÷ the columns wide. Inside a box, the day names take one row and the weeks up to six more, so every month fits whatever day it starts on.
Worked example. US Letter portrait is 215.9 mm wide. With 10 mm margins and three columns 6 mm apart, each month is (215.9 − 20 − 12) ÷ 3 = 61.3 mm wide, so each day gets 8.8 mm.
A year at a glance
A yearly calendar is for seeing the shape of a year: where the long weekends fall, how many weeks a term has, when the busy months cluster. Every date is worked out from the calendar rules, not copied from a table, so a year a decade away is as right as this one, and a leap year such as 2028 gets its 29 February without anyone typing it.
Years that do not start in January
Schools, sports seasons and many businesses run from a month other than January. Choose that month as the first and the title becomes the two years it spans. For a school year with term pages, the school year calendar adds a page for each month.
The year page, and every page after it
For a planner, the Pack Builder starts with this page and adds the twelve months and every week of the year in order, with your name or title on every page and no credit line, in one print for US$9.
Questions about yearly calendars
Can the year start in a month other than January?
Yes. Pick any “First month” and the page shows twelve months from there, titled across two years, such as 2026–2027. That suits a school year, a financial year or a project that does not start in January.
Which holidays are listed?
US federal holidays in the US format, and the bank holidays of England and Wales in the UK format, marked from 1978 and from 2013. Days off are printed in red in the months, and the list under the months names each one, observed and substitute days included. Untick “List the holidays” for more room, or “Show holidays” for a plain year.
Portrait or landscape?
Portrait puts the months in four rows of three, landscape in three rows of four. Both fit all twelve months on one page; landscape suits a wall, portrait suits a binder or the inside of a cupboard door.
Is next year’s calendar right already?
Yes. Dates are worked out, not typed in, so the days and weeks of any year from 1900 to 2200 are right, leap years included. Movable holidays are worked out too: Easter Sunday 2027 is 28 March, which puts Good Friday and Easter Monday either side of it.
Can I get a page per month as well?
The printable calendar prints a month to a page, up to twelve in one go. The Pack Builder puts the year page and the month pages in a single print with your title on each.
